OS+H ASIA 2012 to feature conference and forum

March 28, 2012

OS+H AsiaThe exhibits of the expected 150 international exhibitors at OS+H Asia 2012, 8th Occupational Safety & Health Exhibition for Asia, will be supported by the 2nd Singapore WSH Conference and the Forum on Safety & Health. The organizer Messe Düsseldorf Asia anticipates more than 5,000 international trade visitors for the event. OS+H Asia 2012 will take place at an opportune time as the Government introduced the workplace safety and health act in September last year. This initiative is an essential part of the new agenda to promote useful safety habits and encourage a strong safety philosophy in the workplace. The trade fair will be held from September 12 - 14, 2012 at the Suntec Singapore International Exhibition and Convention Center.

The Singapore WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) Conference 2012, organized by the WSH Council, Ministry of Manpower and WSH Institute, will be staged on September 12 and 13. With the topic “Changing Landscapes, Shaping a Progressive WSH Culture”, the conference will bring together CEOs, senior government officials and workplace safety and health professionals to discuss issues such as:
- WSH: Important for business sustainability?
- WSH Professionals: Operational or strategic?
- How to leverage on partnership for WSH?
- How to shape a progressive WSH culture?
- Enforcement vs. ownership: A balancing act?
- An ageing workforce: Challenging or opportunity?

On September 14, the Singapore Institution of Safety Officers (SISO) and Messe Düsseldorf Asia will organize the Forum on Safety & Health. This event will provide a platform for local and international workplace safety and health experts, professionals, specialist service providers and manufacturers to share the latest technological advancement in key safety and health issues such as work at heights, crane safety and innovative work safety and health solutions.
