Chapman Innovations makes the 2012 Inc. 500|5000—Inc. Magazine’s exclusive list of America’s fastest-growing private companies

October 16, 2012

Summit Training Source offers new GHS training videoChapman Innovations, the company that manufactures CarbonX® non-flammable fabrics and apparel, ranked NO. 4134 on Inc. Magazine’s sixth annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive listing of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.

Chapman achieved this distinction for its 32 percent growth in sales over the past three years (2008–2011). The company was also featured on the Inc. 500|5000 in 2008 (#2584) and 2009 (#3537).

“While it started out as a solution to protect race-car drivers and pit crews in motorsports, CarbonX is now protecting professionals and enthusiasts in industrial safety, construction, welding, molten metal, utilities, oil and gas, firefighting, and tactical markets,” said Tyler Thatcher, CEO of Chapman Innovations. “Once safety decision-makers see firsthand the superior performance of our products compared to those of our competitors, they are sold on CarbonX.”

Chapman Innovations partners with leading safety manufacturers and distributors to deliver customized, non-flammable personal protective equipment (PPE) solutions for the world’s most dangerous environments. The highly protective, patented CarbonX fiber blend enables the company’s products to be optimized for performance against a wide variety of risks and hazards, including direct flame, extreme heat, molten metal, hot/flammable liquids, petrochemicals, and arc flash.

Visit the Chapman Innovations/CarbonX booth (#1568) at the National Safety Council Expo in Orlando, Florida, October 22–24, for more information, or visit www.carbonx.com.
