Honeywell Safety Products applies innovation to new products for head-to-toe fit, style, comfort and safety

May 1, 2013

Honeywell Safety Products leather workbootHoneywell Safety Products today announced a variety of new safety products featuring an array of design and technology innovations to protect workers from “head to toe” in fit, style, and comfort.

“Safety managers are entrusted by their workers with a critical goal: to ensure their safety and protection while on the job. It is our mission to provide the solutions that they — managers and workers — need to succeed,” said John Montigny, Chief Marketing Officer, Honeywell Safety Products.

“The products that we’ve announced today introduce innovative new thinking towards safety — advancements in technology, new looks in design, fresh approaches to fit and comfort, and realistic understanding of usage. They represent our continuing dedication to providing “head to toe” protection for workers and the solutions safety managers require to manage enduring cultures of safety for everyone,” he said.

The products include:

  • Oliver® Boots industrial safety footwear, which merges its long history of superior craftsmanship (since 1887) with cutting-edge technology for the ultimate combination of ruggedness and comfort in work boots for use in extreme environments. Featuring chemical-resistant exteriors, Poron technology, Natureform wide profile steel toe caps, Nanolite footbeds, premium leather and direct-attach construction, Oliver Boots maximize safety and comfort while reducing foot and leg fatigue. Oliver Boots are ideal for use in mining, oil and gas, manufacturing and construction industries. For more information, visit www.oliversafetyboots.com.

  • New North® brand “Conspire™” and “Relentless™” styles of safety eyewear, which are the first to introduce the company’s exclusive North Signature Fit™ Profile. Based on years of anthropomorphic research in facial dimensions, the North Signature Fit features uniquely shaped and padded nosepieces and flexible temples that comfortably fit at least 85% of wearers right out of the box — without the need for advanced adjustments.

Both styles feature a lightweight, full-wrap design, include an eight-base, single front with dual lenses, and are fully dielectric. A variety of lens tint options, along with Fog-Ban® anti-fog lenses, are available. The result is “grab-and-go” convenience and protection for workers — plus value and a simplified purchasing process for safety managers. For more information, visit www.honeywellsafety.com.

  • Two new styles of Harley-Davidson® Personal Safety Wear that continue to motivate workers to proudly wear their high performance safety eyewear.

The new HD1400 Series Safety Eyewear’s radical “old school” retro design is inspired by the distinctive heritage of the Harley-Davidson brand. Its contrasting color temples feature a streamline, vintage fuel tank emblem for unmistakable Harley® styling

The new HD1500 Series Safety Eyewear embodies the gritty appeal of Harley-Davidson in its sleek, semi-frameless, wrap-around dual-lens design — and temples that feature H-D® iconic skull and trailing flames.

Both lines shield workers’ eyes from workplace hazards while the polycarbonate, anti-scratch lenses resist impact, distortion and scratches, and block harmful ultraviolet rays. Wide temples add side protection and durable, impact-resistant polycarbonate frames ensure lightweight comfort. For more information visit www.H-DPersonalSafetyWear.com
