Pelican Products, a leading manufacturer of high-performance protective case solutions and advanced portable lighting systems, has appointed Steve Skrubis to Director of Product Management – Cases.

“Steve’s diverse experience and extensive customer knowledge give him a unique perspective that makes our already strong team, that much more solid,” said Joe Baltronis, Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, Pelican Products. “Under his guidance I’m confident that Pelican will continue to refine our legendary case line to create the new products and services that our customers will need and want.”

Bringing nearly 20 years of product management, sales and marketing experience to his new role, Skrubis will be responsible for the growth, management and oversight of Pelican Cases in the government, commercial and consumer case markets. In addition he will serve as the voice of Pelican’s customers, working closely with Pelican New Product Development, Marketing, Production, Quality Assurance and Sales teams to ensure successful product launches and sustainment.

Prior to joining Pelican, Skrubis served in several product and sales management positions at companies such as Benelli, Smith and Wesson, Bulldog Barrels, and the Ithaca Gun Company. Most recently he held the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Troy Industries – a leading firearm accessory manufacturer.  

Skrubis holds a Bachelor’s Degree from The State University of New York College at Plattsburgh. He is fluent in both English and French and holds a membership in several industrial organizations and charities that include the United States Wild Turkey Federation, Ducks Unlimited, Federation of Fly Fishers and Safari Club International. Skrubis is also a nominee for the NCAA Hockey Hall of Fame.
