Salvatore Longo, Owner and CEO of Frankfort, NY-based Northern Safety, has announced that National Baseball Hall of Famer, Cal Ripken, Jr. is the new spokesman for the Company.

Cal Ripken, Jr. played Major League Baseball for the Baltimore Orioles for 21 years. During his prestigious career, Mr. Ripken played 2,632 consecutive games, breaking the record Lou Gehrig held for 56 years. His dedication and perseverance earned him the nickname “Iron Man.”

“Mr. Ripken is a perfect fit for Northern Safety. He personifies everything our company stands for and the safety message we’re committed to delivering. His 2,632-game streak represents his commitment to staying safe so he could go to work every day. The messages will give tips on how to increase safety awareness and compliance in the workplace. “The safety message is the most important message in the workplace.
