Superior’s Ultrafine Cut-Resistant Glove made with DuPont ™ Kevlar® fiber.

Superior Glove Works, a Canadian glove manufacturer, has harnessed an advanced knowledge of yarn technology to create an affordable and innovative glove, allowing a broader industrial market of workers to benefit from premium safety solutions.

New in Superior Glove’s diverse line of hand protection apparel is the addition of the Canadian-made Dexterity® Ultrafine 18-Gauge Cut-Resistant Glove to its high-end arsenal of gloves for 2013. This incredibly dexterous glove allows a sleeker fit and improved finger dexterity to allow workers to complete precise tasks requiring agility.

David Buzzelli, DuPont™ Kevlar® Cut Protection Marketing Manager, had this to say about Superior’s innovative new glove:

“This new and innovative glove made with DuPont™ Kevlar® fiber provides an answer to a growing need for high dexterity cut-resistant hand protection. The S18KGFN glove demonstrates the commitment of Superior Glove and DuPont Protection Technologies to addressing the evolving needs of end users in industrial markets and to keep them safe while performing tasks that require ultra-lightweight protection.”

This is the first 18-gauge cut-resistant glove made with Kevlar® that is targeted toward the broader industrial market, offering cut protection levels rated ASTM 2. True ingenuity in the design process is what creates the impressive bare hand feel this glove provides. This is precision engineering; by combining DuPont™ Kevlar® fiber with tightly knit engineered yarns, Superior Glove has made great advancements in safe and comfortable personal protective apparel.
