Health & Safety Institute announces new National Accounts Director

February 20, 2014

Vendor NewsHealth & Safety Institute (HSI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Carol Ghizzoni-O’Neal as National Accounts Director. A former National Account Manager for Philips Healthcare, she brings significant emergency care industry experience to HSI’s American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI), MEDIC First Aid, Summit Training Source, EMP Canada, 24-7 EMS, and 24-7 Fire brands of training programs and services.

A graduate of Youngstown State University and the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Youngstown, OH, Ghizzoni-O’Neal will focus on building a national presence for HSI’s total training solutions for both corporate and entrepreneurial customers.

“With Carol’s strong background from her 17 years of representing the top-selling automated external defibrillators (AEDs) of Philips Healthcare, as well as her experiences as a registered nurse, she is the ideal candidate to bring our emergency care and EH&S offerings to a broader national audience,” says HSI CEO Bill Clendenen. “Her well-known industry presence and valuable technical expertise resonate with HSI’s commitment to making protecting and saving lives easy in as many of our workplaces and our communities as possible.”;

“I have had the pleasure of working with Bill and HSI for many years now,” says Ghizzoni-O’Neal. “I’ve watched the company grow and build a strong customer base through its innovative programs and training service offerings. To join this dynamic company at this phase of its history is an exciting challenge and a rare opportunity to help shape the direction of the company in years to come.”
