Feature Articles

Send topics you would like to write about and brief article summaries to ISHN’s Chief Editor Benita Mehta at mehtab@bnpmedia.com.

General guidelines for contributions:

  • Article submissions should be sent as a Word document.
  • Articles must be noncommercial. References to specific products, brand names and companies are not allowed.
  • Articles should give readers unbiased practical information, such as training, how-to guides, better understanding of standards, and maintenance, storage and usage practices.
  • Performance claims of generically described products must be backed by objective research.
  • Articles should be 600 to 1,200 words.
  • Each article must include an byline author, 50-word bio and author and/or company contact info, which will be published at the end of the article.
  • Submissions should include one to two high-resolution photos, if possible.
  • One link to a company website is allowed in the bio.
  • We only consider articles submitted exclusively to ISHN.

Product Releases

Product releases are accepted for publication consideration. Submit approximately 100 words and a photo plus your company contact information. Submit product news information to Benita Mehta.

Please Note: All photos must be high-resolution jpgs or tifs, no less than 300 dpi. Videos should be under 2GB and less than 5 minutes. Submit as a digital file, fully edited and in the finished version (WMV, FLV, MP4, MOV, MPG or AVI format).


Vendor News

Submit news about your company’s personnel changes, mergers, acquisitions, trade shows and other news to Benita Mehta. Press releases should be in Word and must include an image, which can be a company logo when applicable.
