In response to expectations that the oil industry report on climate change issues, the international global oil and gas industry association IPIECA has developed a new Climate Change Reporting Framework.

The third edition of the Oil and gas industry guidance on voluntary sustainability reporting is now available for companies to use for their 2015 reporting cycles. The Guidance provides a reporting process together with a set of performance indicators for sustainability issues in the industry, covering environmental, health and safety, and social and economic issues.

The IPIECA - the global oil and gas industry association for environmental and social issues and the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP) have produced new guidance to provide practical guidance for clients and contractors on the development and implementation of all contracts that include a health component as determined by the Risk Assessment.

The IPIECA, the global oil and gas industry association for environmental and social issues, in partnership with the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP), has completed seven of the 24 Good Practice Guides that are being rewritten or newly created as part of the update of the IPIECA oil spill preparedness and response report series.
