Southern Glove’s Honduras plant earns ISO 9001:2008 quality accreditation
Industrial glove manufacturer Southern Glove has announced that their cut and sew manufacturing facility in Honduras, has been accredited ISO 9001:2008 status for its quality management system. Since 1997, the Honduras location has manufactured Southern Glove cut and sewn hand and arm protection products and provides contract, full-package manufacturing for other industries under the Southern Innovations brand.

ISO 9001:2008 is one of the most coveted manufacturing certifications in the world. Fidler said the accreditation assures that the company’s quality systems provide the foundation to enhance customer satisfaction, staff motivation and continual improvement.
Southern Glove’s Honduras plant manufactures a wide range of cut and sewn products including gloves, protective sleeves, aprons, industrial apparel, safety vests, pet products, butchers’ frocks and chefs’ coats. Core manufacturing capabilities include product design, pattern creation, cutting and assembly.
