Larson Electronics launches lights behind the camera

August 31, 2015

Larson Electronics' four foot two lamp fixtures will appear  in the sequel "The Divergent Series: Allegiant - Part 1," to be released in March of 2016. The HAL-48-2L is a hazardous area fluorescent light fixture that is Class 1 Division 2 Groups A, B, C, and D approved, has a T4A temperature rating and ideal for locations where flammable chemical/petrochemical vapors may be encountered. The lamps are protected by an aluminum framed shatter and heat resistant clear acrylic lens secured with ten draw latches. The fixture is constructed of copper free aluminum alloy and is available with brackets for surface mounting, as well as a pendant mount option.

The EPL-SL-10-LED explosion proof string light set from Larson Electronics is rumored to be in the bat cave in the new movie "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice", scheduled to hit theaters in March 2016. This explosion proof string light set contains a total of ten 10 watt LED work lights equipped with aluminum hooks and connected in series along 90' of 14/3 SOOW cord. A molded T junction is mounted every ten feet, with three feet of 16/3 SOOW cord connecting a single drop light to the backbone. The cord on this unit is terminated in a Class 1, Division 1 explosion proof plug for complete protection. A 25' tail section of main SOOW cord is included to allow ample length for connection to power sources.

The GL-3085H camouflage HID wireless remote control spotlight will make its debut in the new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" movie, set to be released in June 2016. This HID spotlight is designed for all weather conditions and produces 3,000 lumens of intense light output capable of reaching over 5,000' in distance, making it a perfect fit for the turtles battle wagon to see their nemesis in the darkness. It features wireless remote control operation that allows users to rotate the light 370° with a hard stop and to adjust vertical tilt through 135°. Remote operation is provided by two wireless controllers, including one handheld portable remote and one dash mount remote.

The HAL-48-2L-BMSW hazardous area fluorescent light fixture will be making its debut on the big screen in August 2016 upon the release of the new Warner Brothers and DC Comics film "Suicide Squad" under the working title of "Bravo 14". This Class 1 Division 2 light fixture has a T4A temperature rating and is ideal for hazardous locations where flammable chemical and petrochemical vapors may be encountered. This fixture features two surface mounted swivel brackets. Once the brackets are mounted to a surface, the light fixture can be pivoted by loosening the set screw that holds the bracket to the mounting peg. This fixture is universal voltage and operates on 120-277 volts AC.
