American Trainco announces rebranding as part of TPC Training Systems

September 25, 2015

American Trainco, the industry leader in public seminar maintenance training, is now TPC Trainco; the rebranding reflects the company’s status as part of the TPC Training Systems brand family of industrial training solutions. TPC Training Systems acquired American Trainco in July 2014.

“Our commitment to the value of intensive live instructor training is as strong as ever,” said American Trainco founder and president John Schuster. “We’re proud of the fact that our unique expertise in this area enhances TPC’s ability to meet every training need, and the rebranding reflects our belief in what we can accomplish together."

TPC Training Systems’ brand family also includes TPC Online, a learning management system with the industry’s deepest library of technical and safety content, TPC iSchematic, a customized, interactive machine-specific training and troubleshooting tool, and TPC Consulting, a team of senior industrial training consultants focused on training needs analysis, custom program development, and skills assessment.

Since joining forces last year, the two teams have developed an integrated portfolio of services, begun cross-sell efforts, and explored new services that combine each brand’s unique capabilities and market position.

“The new brand preserves American Trainco’s important legacy in instructor-led training while emphasizing its value as part of the total training solution we provide,” said TPC Training Systems CEO Andrew Kauser. “In particular, their roster of more than 60 subject matter experts, combined with our 1,000+ course hours of industrial training content, gives us a set of capabilities that no other training provider can match."

TPC Trainco will continue its core emphasis on intensive, two-day local maintenance seminars and on-site instructor-led training. The brand will conduct more than 1,500 public seminars in 2015, in addition to hundreds of on-site trainings.
