Workrite Uniform Company, Inc., a flame-resistant (FR) workwear manufacturer, announces the launch of the Workrite® FR Tactical Pant: a durable, lightweight and stylish FR clothing option for firefighters and industrial workers.
Cut from GlenGuard’s strong and colorfast Ripstop fabric, the Workrite FR Tactical Pant represents a new frontier in workwear. Combining Workrite Uniform’s decades of expertise in FR clothing with GlenGuard’s commitment to providing lightweight and long-lasting fabrics, this new product aims to improve safety in the workplace by offering a level of comfort and quality that encourages workers to properly wear their FR clothing. Made from 6.1-ounce fabric and UL-certified to NFPA 2112 as well as NFPA 1975, the new Tactical Pant provides this compliance-inspiring fit and feel without sacrificing protection.
With two front pockets and two cargo pockets, one equipped with a separate knife holder, the pant has ample storage space. The pant’s elastic waistband allows for maximum comfort and includes extra-wide belt loops. For added touches of style and increased flexibility, the pant features a pleated, articulated knee.
“We are constantly working to improve our products for our customers, to make them lighter, more comfortable and more stylish while still maintaining their important safety features,” said Keith Suddaby, Workrite Uniform’s president. “The Tactical Pant not only fits major industry requirements for FR clothing, including protection from flash fire, but is comfortable to wear, maintains its color and safety features even after many trips through the washer, and has a sleek and professional appearance.”
The Tactical Pant will be available for purchase this November. For more information on Workrite Uniform, its brands and the new Tactical Pant, visit www.workrite.com.
