Pilz Automation Safety opens additional office

Pilz south east services delivery office in Charlotte, NC

August 9, 2016

Pilz Automation Safety, a leading, innovative safety and automation technology company, announces the grand opening of their new services delivery office in Charlotte, North Carolina.

"Opening this office allows us to locate key Safety Consultants and Engineers closer to our customers in the area. The closer we are to our customers, the better we can meet their needs," states Ben Harper, National Sales Manager for Pilz Automation Safety. "The office will also act as an additional training center and allow us to conduct smaller, topic and/or customer-specific training to assist our customers locally," adds Harper.

"Pilz is very proud to be in the safety business, and we take our safety responsibility very seriously. When our customers need our expertise, we need to be there for them, on their schedule. So their workers go home the way they came to work - safe!" states Michael Beerman, General Manager for Pilz Automation Safety. "While this is the South East Services Delivery Office, our plan is to open additional offices around the country as we continue to grow in the United States," adds Beerman.

The grand opening will take place on Friday, August 19, 2016, from 1:30pm to 5:30pm. The afternoon will start with a training seminar: "The use of protective devices in machine guarding." "This two-hour training session will review regulatory compliance issues with regards to machine guarding as well as protective devices," states Dino Mariuz, Engineering Manager for Pilz. "We maintain a very robust training portfolio, so this training session will give customers a sample of what we have to offer," adds Mariuz. After the training session, customers will have the opportunity to ask Pilz safety and automation experts their specific questions and concerns, one-on-one, while enjoying refreshments. During the open house, Pilz will be giving away two $1,000 coupons for any Pilz training class.
