Ergodyne introduces new ProFlex® Gel Knee Pads

Ergodyne ProFlex
October 18, 2016

Ergodyne has announced today the release of its new ProFlex® Gel Knee Pad Series. Workers will enjoy the same high quality and functionality of the current knee pads, but with a refreshed look and new innovative design.

New ProFlex® Gel Knee Pad models include:

  • 342 Extra Long Cap Injected Gel Knee Pad
  • 344 Short Cap Injected Gel Knee Pad with Comfort Straps
  • 345 Long Cap Injected Gel Knee Pad
  • 347 Long Cap Lightweight Gel Knee Pad
  • 355 Short Cap Injected Gel Knee Pad
  • 357 Short Cap Lightweight Gel Knee Pad
  • 367 Round Cap Lightweight Gel Knee Pad

“We’ve managed to make our best gel knee pads even better,” said Megan Tansom, senior product specialist, Ergodyne. “The new and improved cap designs will increase the wearer’s comfort, resulting in better long-term knee health for the worker as well as more productivity and happiness.”

These updated knee pad designs boast two different gel technologies that are ideal for either static or mobile kneeling applications. Those who have to move around on their knees on the job generally prefer knee pads that are lightweight. Lightweight gel technology and EVA foam in the 347, 357 and 367 help maintain comfort without sacrificing mobility. The slightly heavier injected gel knee pads (342, 344, 345 and 355), conversely, are ideal for more static kneeling applications as they provide the thickest gel/foam combination for better comfort during prolonged kneeling periods.

Select models now come with perforated neoprene straps for better comfort and breathability. All updated gel knee pads are treated with an anti-oxidant agent to prevent the cap from gradual discoloration and yellowing, and the neoprene kneeling surface is treated with Aegis® anti-odor treatment to keep the knee pads fresher for longer. See full product features and benefits below and on theproduct series page.

“Workers need knee pads that can stand the test of time,” said Tom Votel, president and CEO, Ergodyne. “We bet this product will bring them to their knees – but we doubt they’ll mind.”
