International Specialist Retail Conference at A+A 2017
A special feature at A+A 2017, International Trade Fair with Congress for Safety, Security and Health at Work, will be the PPE Specialist Conference “New Momentum for PPE Sales in a Digital World.” It is geared towards international specialist retailers of personal protective equipment and will complement the large range of PPE products on display at the exhibition. A+A will be held from October 17 – 20, 2017 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Speakers from Amazon Business, Lyreco, Kübler, Uvex Safety Group and Zamro (among others) as well as from the Employers’ Liability Insurance for the Construction Sector will discuss the challenges caused by the fast growth of e-commerce. New regulations governing PPE and cooperation possibilities between manufacturers and dealers are also on the agenda. The event will take place on October 18 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Congress Center South at the Düsseldorf exhibition center. All lectures will be held in English. Tickets cost EUR 110 online, EUR 135 on site in Düsseldorf and include participation in all lectures of the specialist conference, a snack lunch and admission to A+A 2017.
Market conditions for A+A 2017 and the occupational safety and health equipment sector are positive. It is a growing industry and the market for personal protective equipment is especially dynamic: it currently has a volume of some EUR 18 billion worldwide, with 38% (EUR 5.8 billion) accounted for by EU markets and EUR 1.8 billion by Germany alone. Experts expect the market growth to continue.
