Both the 8386 Type R Class 3 Outer Shell and the 8287 Type R Class 2 Convertible Thermal Jacket feature a weatherproof, 300 denier polyester outer shell, a breathable PU coating, two-inch ANSI-compliant 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective, and multiple external pockets for ample storage. Black panels on the 8386 hide dirt and wear, plus it has an inset hood with a drawstring and stoppers. The rugged 8287 is made with 100g 3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation and its insulated, quilted sleeves can zip out to turn the jacket into a thermal vest.

When Jack Frost rears his ugly head, the 8287 can zip inside the 8386 to form the GloWear® 8388 Type R Class 3/2 Thermal Jacket, a customizable solution to help wearers adapt to any climate or weather condition – and stay warm, dry, safe and seen.
