Sales and revenue records have tumbled at noise monitoring and product specialists Cirrus Research this financial year following a HQ and team restructuring across the company.

Martin Ellison (above), who joined the Yorkshire-based company in February as its new Sales Manager, has overseen a seismic shift, enjoying record-breaking months and sales-smashing targets throughout 2018 so far.

In sales, March was the largest month in the company's 48-year history; the week on week targets have seen an uplift of 21% and the final quarter and Year End targets (June 30, 2017- July 1, 2018) are also set to be smashed in record breaking style.

And the success isn't limited to UK shores, with the Cirrus Frankfurt-based office also above its quarterly forecasts and its Spanish operation enjoying a 48 per cent uplift in its average order size.

"It has been a momentous year for the Cirrus team," said Martin. "We have seen significant investment in the company's Head Office as well as a recruitment drive that has brought new skills in to Cirrus that are paying dividends.

"The restructuring of the sales team has allowed skills sets to be targeted and we have really seen the Environmental and Projects Division of our operation take off this year with major new Blue Chip and global companies join our client roster."

Cirrus is planning to recruit further, adding to its marketing and digital team, whilst strengthening its French and UK sales operations and investing heavily in new IT sales support tools.

"We have ambitious plans for 2018/19 with a Group strategic plan in place to take us on to 2020 and into the new decade," added Martin. "Cirrus is best placed on all fronts, domestic and international, to meet and exceed those ambitions."
