The demonstration consisted of a humidifier that compared eyewear without anti-fog coating to eyewear with IQuity technology. According to Alan Shepherd, national construction safety specialist for Radians, “Attendees simply could not believe how IQuity eyewear remained fog-free. ‘Wow, those really do work,’ was a repeated exclamation throughout the show,” says Shepherd.

Unfortunately, wearing respirators and safety eyewear together often leads to fogged eyewear, but that will not be the case when workers are wearing IQuity anti-fog and abrasion resistance eyewear.”

“IQuity, a Super Hydrophilic water-based coating, lasts longer than solvent-based coatings,” explains Wiener. “The coating lasts much longer because the anti-fog and anti-scratch properties are thicker and regenerate over and over for long-term wear and durability. Compared to toxic, solvent based coatings, IQuity is environmentally friendly, non-toxic, and is both EN166 K and N compliant.”

IQuity anti-fog coating is currently available in four popular ANSI Z87.1 impact resistant safety eyewear. Each safety glass is sealed in an air-tight bag for longer shelf-life and packaged in a designer box.
