Goodway Technologies Remote Inspection Camera

Goodway Technologies, a global leader in industrial maintenance and cleaning solutions, has launched the VAC-DIV2-CAMKIT, a remote, extended-reach, high-resolution inspection camera designed to make overhead cleaning and inspection safer, faster, and more effective.

Overhead areas—such as beams, ductwork, and rafters—are notorious for collecting dust and debris that can pose operational and safety risks. According to Goodway and their expert tips on overhead vacuum cleaning, proper inspection is the first step to maintaining a clean and compliant facility. However, traditional methods often require ladders or lifts, increasing labor costs and safety hazards.

The VAC-DIV2-CAMKIT solves these challenges by transforming Goodway’s carbon fiber extension wands into a powerful inspection tool. Key features include:

  • High-Resolution Camera for live video and still images streamed to a smartphone.
  • Extended Reach for ground-level inspections—eliminating the need for ladders or lifts.
  • Onboard Storage for before-and-after documentation, supporting internal audits and cleaning verification.
  • Easy Integration with Goodway vacuum systems for seamless cleaning and inspection.

While NFPA 660—the new consolidated standard for combustible dust—emphasizes proactive housekeeping and documentation, the VAC-DIV2-CAMKIT helps facilities take practical steps toward compliance by enabling safe, efficient inspections without disrupting operations.

“Visibility is critical for effective cleaning and preventing combustible dust explosions,” said Eric Potorski, Industrial Vacuum Specialist at Goodway Technologies. “This tool gives operators the confidence to identify problem areas and verify cleaning results, all while staying safely on the ground.”

The VAC-DIV2-CAMKIT is ideal for industries where dust control is essential, including food processing, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing.
