Alignops FleetWatcher introduces BLE Asset Tracking to provide real-time visibility for small assets like concrete saws, excavator or loader buckets, generators, light towers, angle grinders, and more. Leveraging state of the art Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology, this new functionality is seamlessly integrated into the FleetWatcher App, allowing precision asset management for the tools that keep projects moving. With BLE Asset Tracking, users know the location of small assets – by individual item, jobsite, or asset class – to eliminate items being misplaced, misallocated, or left behind. 

The app will begin scanning for BLE devices within a 100-foot radius. The scanning process runs for 30 seconds, afterward all discovered devices are recorded and displayed in FleetWatcher’s interface. After each scan, a five-minute cooldown period prevents immediate rescans but allows users to review a comprehensive list of all currently tracked BLE equipped assets within the company. Newly activated devices will automatically populate the list – without a manual refresh required.
