An eight-year-old Wisconsin boy who accompanied his mother to work because she had no place else to take him was killed on the evening of June 18th after getting his arm caught in a conveyor belt of a machine, according to a report in the Milwaukee Journal.

His mother, who worked for a cleaning company, was emptying trash when the boy's arm was snagged in a machine running on a 24-hour, non-stop schedule. The incident occurred at Cintex Corp. in Kenosha, Wisc. Cintex manufactures metal detectors.
