On March 1, OSHA will hold an open meeting of the Federal Advisory Council on Occupational Safety and Health (FACOSH) in Washington, D.C. The council will meet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Conference Rooms N-3437 A/B/C of the Department of Labor’s Frances Perkins Building, 200 Constitution Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C., 20210.

The 16-person council advises the Secretary of Labor on issues concerning the safety and health of federal employees. Chaired by OSHA director Edwin Foulke Jr., the council includes eight labor representatives and eight management representatives appointed by the Secretary of Labor.

The tentative agenda for the FACOSH meeting includes: Safety, Health, and Return-to-Employment (SHARE) Initiative, Recordkeeping, Training, Field Federal Safety and Health Councils and Facility Safety and Health Design.
