According to the announcement, the grants provide training for topics including combustible dust; falls from scaffolds, ladders and roofs in construction; and food processing health hazards such as diacetyl exposures in popcorn and other food flavoring manufacturing facilities.
The grants, which may total up to $6.7 million are awarded to nonprofit organizations to provide training and education programs for employers and employees on OSHA-selected safety and health topics.
