OSHA chief Edwin G. Foulke Jr. is scheduled to speak at the Textile Rental Services Association of America (TRSA) CEO Summit to be held Sept. 18-19 in Boston, according to the TRSA Web site.

Foulke will address industry leaders at a Sept. 18 luncheon at the Marriott Long Wharf. According to TRSA, Foulke joins the program as part of the association’s SafeTRSA Program (www.trsa.org), which is designed to reduce and eliminate injuries and illnesses in places where textile service employees work. Foulke will discuss enhancing safety from the top down, and he will share the administration’s priorities regarding workplace safety and enforcement, TRSA said.

SafeTRSA has allowed members and staff to keep regulators abreast of efforts to protect employees in the textile industry, according to TRSA, and Foulke’s presentation offers the industry another opportunity to emphasize that point.

Four other presenters — in the areas of leadership, succession planning, human resources and economics — will join Foulke on the agenda. They are: Stephen M.R. Covey, author of the best-selling management book,The Speed of Trust; iNsights’ Nancy Roberts, speaking on HR issues; Sam Davis III, Relative Solutions, discussing succession planning; and economist Allan Beaulieu, Institute for Trend Research, examining how macroeconomic issues will likely impact the textile services industry.
