The American Society of Safety Engineers is currently planning its next Virtual Symposium to be held September 21-23, 2010. The event will be delivered live online, with all webcasts also being recorded for on-demand viewing by our attendees.
Specific Virtual Symposium tracks will focus on:
Emerging Safety & Health Issues – Emerging safety & health issues are changing the landscape and presenting new challenges for safety professionals, impacting their sphere of influence.
Environmental Issues – While the majority of safety professionals moderately participate in environmental issues, the safety professional in the petroleum industry has well-defined responsibilities related to their organization’s environmental challenges.
Emergency Response Planning and Execution– When a crisis occurs in the petroleum industry, it can be large scale and catastrophic. Safety professionals in the petroleum industry play a significant role in planning and overseeing the response for these events.
In an effort to find the latest best practices in petroleum industry safety, we welcome your proposal for a one-hour concurrent session to be presented online at this event.
