Safety Marketing Group Announces Award Winners at 2011 Partnership Conference

Safety Marketing Group (SMG), the world's largest consortium of independently owned safety equipment distributors, today released names of the Annual Partnership Conference Award Winners. These Awards include the Supplier and Distributor President’s Choice Awards, Peak Performer Awards (Supplier and Distributor of the Year.)

The winners were announced during the Joint Session at the group’s annual conference held at the Cosmopolitan, Las Vegas, Nevada.

They are as follows:

About the Safety Marketing Group

The Safety Marketing Group, located in Brooksville, Florida, is a network of dominant industrial safety equipment distributors in North America. 50 + SMG Suppliers were represented and 60 + SMG Distributors were in attendance at this year’s conference; 300 + Safety Specialists were on hand for the annual Business Meeting, Distributor Principal Benchmarking Session, Supplier Benchmarking Session, Purchasing Professional Session, and Next Generation Session which was held on Monday, April 4, 2011. The following two days were “suite to suite” meetings for all of our Distributor and Suppliers.

SMG is a Cooperative which is Member Owned by our Independently Owned Safety Equipment Distributors with purchasing power of $900,000,000.00.
