UL acquires PureSafety

Vendor NewsUL, a world leader in advancing safety,announced today that it has acquired PureSafety, the leading provider of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) software solutions.

Founded in 1999, PureSafety enables employers to manage health safety and risks more efficiently and effectively with industry-leading OH&S software and expertise.  Over 1,500 organizations rely on PureSafety to optimize overall business performance with a suite of state-of-the-art software applications that covers the entire lifecycle of workforce health and safety management.

More than 250 knowledgeable professionals join UL’s fast growing training and advisory services practice, which provides relevant data, information and business intelligence to UL’s worldwide customer base.  PureSafety’s workplace safety training courseware, safety management, employee health and clinic management solutions become an integral addition to UL’s service capabilities.

Bill Grana, along with the rest of PureSafety’s leadership team, will continue to manage PureSafety’s operations. The business will remain headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee.
