3M3M’s newest line of Safety Sunwear combines heavy-duty protection that sports a sleek look and solid design. Ideal for nearly all types of harsh outdoor working environments, 3M™ Safety Sunwear provides workers with a variety of features to improve their level of protection and comfort.

The series is composed of four distinct lines of eyewear. All four models have lenses that absorb 99.9 percent of UVA and UVB and meet the requirements for ANSI Z87.1-2010.  Options include foam gaskets, anti-scratch and anti-fog coatings, mirrored lenses, polarized lenses, and various frame colors.  With all features considered, the collection contains 10 variations of protective sunwear that provide comfort and security while boasting a sporty design that easily doubles as everyday sunwear.

The 1300-Series sport-styled collection’s sleek wraparound frame is combined with soft nose pads.

The 1400-Series boasts a wraparound aluminum frame, adjustable nose-bridge, spring-hinged temples.

The 1500-Series provides workers with streamlined frame design, removable foam gasket, and optional polarized lenses.

The 1600-Series features a wraparound frame, soft nose pads, and color-accented temples.

“When operating outdoors, workers demand a robust pair of safety sunglasses,” said Chris Dujovski, product manager, Head, Eye, and Face Protection, 3M. “Our new 3M™ Safety Sunwear line combines protection, comfort and durability into a bold design that workers will want to wear on the job and off.”
