Heartland Footwear debuts top-of-the-line industrial boot

Ultimate Alloy Premium Boot surpasses competition… again

October 4, 2013

Product InnovationsHeartland Footwear, Inc., producer and manufacturer of 100% American-made industrial boots, is pleased to release its newest boot – the Ultimate Alloy Premium Boot. This latest boot is rugged, sturdy, and comfortable enough to meet the demands of the toughest jobs including meat and poultry processing, manufacturing, and oil rigs.

The Ultimate Alloy made its public debut at the Health + Safety Convention at Chicago’s McCormick Place, September 30 - October 2, 2013. This newest line is available at fine industrial footwear retailers and online at: www.heartlandfootwearinc.com.

“Our customers have tough jobs,” says John Callanan, Heartland Footwear VP of Sales. “They spend hours a day trekking through harsh chemicals, organic compounds, leaks, and spills. They cover miles each day, often carrying heavy loads. Most boots on the market provide either comfort OR durability. The Ultimate Alloy boot stands up to everything, and provides workers with the comfort, support, and ergonomic fit they deserve.”

The average industrial worker takes 7,000-10,000 steps each day. The Heartland Footwear Ultimate Alloy Premium boot weighs 10% less than any other heavy-duty boot. That’s one-quarter of a pound less to lift with each step—up to 2,500 pounds less to lift a day. What’s more, this rugged and dependable boot features a softer shaft, is cold-weather ready, and boasts excellent abrasion- and slip-resistance.

In a field study conducted at a leading meat and poultry processor, more than 75% of participating employees ranked the Heartland’s boots as superior to their current boot, which included high marks in being longer lasting and comfortable.

Ultimate Alloy Premium Boot Product is rated excellent for resistance to: acetic acid, ammonium hydroxide, battery acid, ethyl alcohol, ethylene glycol, industrial detergent, milk, oil, hydrochloric, lactic, and phosphoric acid. The Ultimate Alloy is made with FDA-sanctioned Title 21 Food Grade Compounds. Plain and steel toe models available. This boot retails at $50 US.
