Ergodyne announces new thermal knit dipped glove

January 24, 2014

ProFlexErgodyne has announced today the expansion of their ProFlex® Glove Line to include the ProFlex® 921 Thermal Rubber-Dipped Dorsal Impact-Reducing (DIR) Glove. The new 921 DIR Glove offers the same patent-pending dorsal protection, grip, flexibility, and dexterity as the popular 920 Nitrile-Dipped Glove - and utilizes thermal acrylic fleece seamless knit construction to provide exceptional warmth in cold conditions.

"One of the many features of a foam rubber-dipped palm, as opposed to nitrile-dipped, is the ability to maintain grip and flexibility in cold conditions," said Andy Olson, senior product manager, Ergodyne. "Without sacrificing key safety and gripping features of the 920 DIR Glove, the new 921 provides a much needed solution for workers in challenging cold weather DIR applications."

Not only does the 921 DIR Glove keep workers' hands toasty warm in chilly environments, it also delivers superior impact protection with molded rubber armor sewn (not sonic welded) from the base of the hand to the fingertip allowing for extended wear and durability. Additionally, the thermal acrylic fleece provide warmth without compromising dexterity while the hi-vis color scheme promotes hand signaling and allows for hand awareness.

"With the rapid success of our model 920 earlier this year, a winter version was a natural extension," said Tom Votel, president and CEO, Ergodyne. "This particular launch showcases our ability to quickly innovate and deliver top notch safety solutions to workers in every climate."

Ideal for industries where cold weather, grip, and back of the hand protection are a concern, the new ProFlex® 921 Rubber-Dipped Dorsal Impact-Reducing Gloves are available now at all authorized Ergodyne distributors. For more information or for where to buy, visit www.ergodyne.com or call 800.225.8238 // +1 651.642.9889.

  • Finger TPR extends to fingertips; sewn on for maximum durability and wear
  • Armor "flex zones" for high dexterity
  • Abrasion resistant foam rubber dipped palm provides exceptional grip in water, grease and oil while remaining flexible in cold
  • Hi-vis orange for hand signaling
  • Thermal acrylic fleece seamless knit construction
  • Color-coded cuff denotes glove sizing
  • Patent pending
