Master Lock Company LLC recently achieved a recycled content validation from UL Environment for its Safety padlocks. UL Environment awarded recycled content validations for several padlock series that contain at least 34% of recycled content, including the A1100/S1100 Anodized Aluminum locks (65%), the 6835/S6835 series Powder Coated Aluminum locks (62%), and the S31, 406 and 410 and 411 series Zenex™thermoplastic locks (at least 34%).
UL is the leader in third party product testing and certifications, and validates claims for manufacturers representing a wide cross-section of industries. The UL validation mark indicates that a product has been thoroughly reviewed to meet stringent criteria for the claims they make, which helps purchasers feel confident that product claims are accurate while avoiding greenwashing.
