IHHeroes.org website and the inaugural edition of its IH Heroes comic have both won Gold Awards in the category of Digital Media/Website Nonprofit and Print Media/Publications Book by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) MarCom Awards.
The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) has won a 2017 Learnie Award for its AIHce:REPLAY series. The Learnie Awards recognize associations who have pioneered a new way of learning. The National Safety Council gives its annual Marion Martin Award to Alexi Carli, CSP, vice president of Global Health and Safety at UPS. The National Safety Council is introducing a new scholarship program for women pursuing safety as a career, with nominations opening on November 1. The Council also will accept nominations for its second year of the Student Member Congress & Expo Program.
