Robert “Scott” Goodwin, CHST, retired from the fire service after 35 years as a Lieutenant Firefighter with Ballville Township Fire Department in Fremont, Ohio, and was a member of SUSAR Region 1 for Northwest Ohio. He is the corporate safety manager for SSOE Group, an architectural, engineering, design build, procurement and construction management firm. He is a Certified Construction Health and Safety Technician and was previously the director of safety and training for the Associated General Contractors of Northwest Ohio and the National Electrical Contractors Association of Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio.
