Accuform Signs, North America’s leading manufacturer of facility safety identification products, announced it has acquired Signs of Safety, a Texas-based manufacturer of Pathfinder™ Luminous Signs, and other OSHA/ISO/IMO/ANSI-style safety identification products, according to a company press release. In keeping with company policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

This transaction is similar to Accuform Signs’ successful acquisition and integration of Marzetta Signs, which provided new growth opportunities and diversification to Accuform’s base of leading safety equipment and industrial supply distributors.

Commenting on the acquisition, Wayne Johnson, chief executive officer, said “SOS customers can expect to receive “World-Class” customer service, a greater variety of product options, marketing resources, and more. Accuform customers can expect to receive access to product lines not available previously. It’s a win-win for SOS, Accuform, and our distributor partners.”

David Johnson, president of Accuform Signs, added “We believe SOS offers a unique mix of product lines and manufacturing techniques that will complement our already extensive product offerings and production methods.”

Manufacturing of SOS products will be transitioned from Texas to Accuform’s Brooksville, Florida, manufacturing facility. Full integration is expected within 60 days.
