Accuform Signs’ marketing director, Brad Montgomery, has completed the EXHIBITOR’s Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) accreditation program, the only university-affiliated certification program in the trade show and event marketing industry.

Montgomery started the certification process in 2002 in order to improve his company’s trade show marketing strategies. He has successfully accomplished all of the CTSM program requirements: a 28-course core curriculum, a comprehensive examination and acceptance of an Electronic Candidate Portfolio.

Montgomery was recognized as one of the new CTSM graduates at the annual awards ceremony during EXHIBITOR2008 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. He has been in the marketing department at Accuform Signs, a leading provider of industrial safety identification products since 2001, where he has helped guide the company towards seven consecutive years of record growth.

In addition, Accuform Signs announced that John Murphy, QSSP, has received his Professional Certificate of Industrial Distribution from Purdue University. To earn a Professional Certificate of Industrial Distribution, individuals must accumulate nine CEUs (90 contact hours of continuing education), with a minimum of six CEUs (60 contact hours) being earned attending the University of Industrial Distribution.

Murphy is the first SEDA member to pursue and attain the Professional Certificate in Industrial Distribution.
