Wiley X® adds exciting new eyewear styles to its 2015 product line-up

New Climate Control™, Active and Street Series models join company’s full line of eyewear providing absolute premium protection

January 28, 2015

Wiley X eyewearGlobal eyewear leader Wiley X®, Inc. has expanded its premium sunglass line-up with three exciting new models for 2015.

The new-for-2015 WX Tide joins the company’s exclusive Climate Control™ Series, designed to provide clear vision, comfort and serious protection for every outdoor activity. Like all Climate Control models, the new WX Tide is Rx-ready and features a patented removable, soft-foam Facial Cavity™ Seal that blocks out wind, debris and reflected light so wearers can focus on the task at hand, whether it’s fishing, boating, driving, riding or working. This new model is available in two polarized versions — a traditional Gloss Black frame with Polarized Blue Mirror lenses and a distinctive Matte Hickory Brown frame with Polarized Venice Gold Mirror lenses. These Polarized Gold Mirror lenses are a first for Wiley X. Not only do they look great in any frame, their Amber tint is ideal for providing contrast in hazy sun conditions. Both provide the glare-cutting performance and clear vision for use on the water or any harsh lighting conditions. There is also a “Black Ops” version of the WX Tide, pairing an understated Matte Black frame with Smoke Grey lenses.

Joining Wiley X’s Active Series for 2015 is the new WX Peak, an Rx-ready style available in three versions. A Gloss Black frame is paired with cool Silver Flash lenses. There are also two stylish polarized WX Peak models — a unique Gloss Layered Tortoise frame with new Polarized Amber lenses and a Matte Black Frame with Polarized Blue Mirror lenses. These are ideal for use on the water, on the road, or in any high-glare environment. Wiley X Active Series models feature soft rubber nosepieces and/or temple gloves to provide a secure, comfortable fit that stays put, even during heavy action or hot, sweaty conditions.

Wiley X’s popular Street Series sunglass line has grown for 2015 with the addition of the new WX Legend. This street-wise, ready-for-anything model is available in two “eye-catching” configurations — a Matte Black frame with Silver Flash lenses or a Gloss Hickory Brown frame complimented by Polarized Venice Gold Mirror lenses.

In addition to 100% protection against the harmful rays of the sun, each of these new-for-2015 models meet the latest ANSI Z87.1 High Velocity and High Mass

Impact standards, providing OSHA-grade protection for every activity. All adult Wiley X eyewear styles provide this advanced level of eye protection, an important reason why the company is a leading provider of protective eyewear products to the U.S. military and law enforcement agencies, as well as top NASCAR drivers, elite professional bass anglers, and other high-performance athletes.
