Safety professionals who are heading to Texas June 7-9 for the American Society of Safety Engineers’ (ASSE) Safety 2015 convention will do some networking over Texas-sized BBQ of brisket, ribs and chicken (with all the fixin’s) at Eddie Deen’s Ranch, a downtown Dallas fixture.
Hosted by the association’s Southwest Chapter, the evening will also enable attendees to have their picture taken atop a live Texas Longhorn Steer or ride a mechanical one. They can get lessons on how to rope a calf (and use a mechanical horse and calf to sharpen their skills). There’ll also be live music, line dancing, darts and pool.
Cowboy boots encouraged but not required.
