The Systems Group expands, adds new division

May 26, 2015

The Systems Group (TSG), (www.tsg.bz), a diverse group of companies engaged in construction, maintenance and products for steel manufacturing and other heavy industry, has just completed a corporate expansion which includes the addition of a new business unit and the re-naming of another.

Company president Lee Morgan explains: "TSG was previously known for three units: Systems Contracting, Systems Spray-Cooled and American Steel, which has been re-named Systems Fab & Machine to better reflect the services that it provides. We have also formed a fourth unit, Systems Plant Services, in response to hundreds of processing facilities who require maintenance services to keep their plants running. It was a natural outgrowth from our contracting business, which has provided onsite help to customers for many years.

"TSG's overall mission is to provide the safest and most responsive services and products to construct, cool and maintain customers' workplaces," Morgan explains. "The four business units contribute to this goal as follows:"

Systems Contracting is a well-rounded construction firm and one of the nation's top-ranking specialty contractors in the industrial, municipal and commercial construction markets, with more than 45 years of experience.  Specialties include process piping, millwright services, structural concrete and structural steel erection.\

Systems Fab & Machine, (formerly American Steel Company), is a CWB and AISC Certified Fabricator with 30 years of fabrication and machining experience. Capabilities of this in-house fabrication and machine shop include AISC structures; ASME code vessels; handrails, platforms and ladders; machined parts and custom steel products.

Systems Spray-Cooled manufactures a patented line of non-pressurized, non-evaporative water-cooling equipment for the global metal and mineral industries. It is a safer, greener alternative to conventional cooling equipment used in electric arc furnace (EAF) melt shops and other extreme heat load applications.

Systems Plant Services keeps plants running by providing a full range of services to customers, from augmenting their in-house staff to contracting total maintenance. Customers include steel mills and processors, chemical plants, power plants, refineries, pulp and paper mills and many other industries.
