Wells Lamont Industrial introduces thermal impact gloves

Reduces cut, lacerations, bruises and fractures while keeping hands warm

December 1, 2015

Wells LamontWells Lamont Industrial, a worldwide leader and US manufacturer of hand and arm protection, introduces the FlexTech™ I2449T, an ANSI Cut Level 3 thermal palm dipped impact glove. Designed for cold environments in oil and gas, mining and heavy construction, the I2449T provides an extra level of protection to the back of the hand and fingers. The soft and flexible TPR pads protect hands from impacts and blows. Additionally, the sandy nitrile palm coating maintains a firm grip in wet and oily applications. I2449T is constructed of a hi-vis synthetic blended yarn and lined with fleece to deliver ANSI Cut Level 3 protection and improved awareness on the job site while keeping hands warm.

“The I2449T was developed for cold environments where workers’ hands are at risk” says Efi Vrshek, Product Manager, Wells Lamont Industrial. “The I2449T protects from cuts, bruises and fractures while keeping hands warm.”

Tough, yet comfortable, the I2449T provides a higher level of impact protection compared to competitive styles.  Its hi-vis color combination also promotes greater hand visibility and awareness, improving safety on the job. I2449T is available in sizes S-XXL.

“We continually focus on providing hand and arm solutions based on market needs,” says Vrshek. “The I2449T is an excellent solution for applications requiring multi-hazard protection, grip, dexterity and thermal protection.”
