Ohio governor issues executive order aimed at oil and gas safety

An executive order implementing an emergency notification system for oil and gas-related emergencies was signed into law in August by Ohio Governor John Kasich.
It's intended to allow state agencies a quick response to oil and gas-related incidents like spills, explosions and fires.
Agencies like the state department of natural resources, the state EPA and the fire marshal are covered by the order.
