The employer of two workers killed in an accident in Lockport, New York June 25 has had three injuries at its facilities in the last two years, according to news reports.

In the latest incident involving XPO Logistics, two men died when several slabs of Corian – a material used for countertop surfaces - fell on them.

OSHA is currently investigating three other injury accidents at XPO Logistics. A truck driver at the company’s Albany warehouse suffered a fractured pelvis after being struck by an 800-pound box, an employee at the company’s New York City location was struck by a tractor trailer and suffered fractured ribs and a forklift incident in Albany left another worker with injuries.

The recent fatalities bring to four the number of people killed in workplace accidents in western New York State in the last month.
