DEKRA commits to developing Turkish Market - launches new services

DEKRA
March 5, 2019

DEKRA Organisational Reliability, a leading consultancy with expertise and services in the fields of safety and behavioural change, has confirmed its commitment to a developing Turkish market through the launch of several new services, each designed to create and embed an organisational culture of care within the region.

As a part of its continuing global growth strategy, DEKRA has also confirmed renewal of its partnership with Turkish-based health and safety company, Donusen Adam.

Derek Smith (shown above), DEKRA Organisational Reliability’s Managing Director, explains the company’s continued committment to the economically-challenged area: “With over 20 years’ experience in the Turkish market, Donusen Adam’s local pedigree in organisational health and safety transformation projects is second to none. Recognising this, DEKRA chose the company as its strategic partner in the area, back in 2011.”

Eight successful years have followed, working with Turkish, and Turkish-based international clients, leading DERKA to announce its renewed committment to the region late last year, when it presented at IOHS Expo International Occupational Health and Safety Congress, Istanbul.

Derek continues: “We have already created a tangible difference to safety at work within the region, but IOHS Expo highlighted a higher than ever level of demand for DEKRA’s expertise, with a call to raise awareness and risk perception in high hazard environments and to equip leaders with the ability to coach and manage.

“Strategically, this is the ideal time to renew our partnership with Donusen Adam, whilst launching new services - including the SafeMindSafeBody® programme (which raises awareness of human fallibilities and human performance, and how this impacts safety) and Coaching for High PerformanceTM (a highly interactive programme which develops coaching skills of leaders from executive to front line to enhance safety performance) - to the Turkish market.”

A service unit of DEKRA SE, a global leader in safety since 1925, DEKRA Organisational Reliability operates in high hazard industries such as chemical, oil and gas, transportation, utilities, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and agriculture companies. It implements significant change and delivers operational excellence on a global scale, with safety at the core of all it does.
