ABUS USA hires safety industry veteran as Director of Industrial Sales
ABUS USA is proud to welcome Jon A. Smith to its sales team, as the first dedicated Director of Industrial Sales for their safety and industrial channel. Jon joins ABUS with over 40 years of sales management expertise in the safety industry. Recently, Jon held leadership positions at companies such as Radians, Accuform and OccuNomix International, Inc.
In Jon’s new role, he will be responsible for leading and building a first class outside sales organization for ABUS’ rapidly growing industrial business. In addition, Jon will increase brand awareness and develop effective strategies within the sales force to strengthen the organization’s business opportunities.

Jon has successfully accelerated sales and margin growth from both supply and manufacturing companies prior to ABUS, demonstrating his abundance of knowledge and skill within the industry.
