Petzl, manufacturer of professional safety equipment, will release a new headlamp, the SWIFT RL PRO, next month. An ultra-compact headlamp, the SWIFT RL PRO is bright and lightweight, offering 900 lumens and weighing only 4 ounces.                     

The lamp uses REACTIVE LIGHTING technology, which uses a sensor that analyzes ambient light and adjusts the headlamp brightness automatically. Additional features include red lighting, a five-level LED gauge to monitor the battery life and a USB port for recharging the lamp.

The SWIFT RL PRO is compatible with all Petzl helmets; and mounting accessories allow the headlamp to be attached to any kind of helmet. All functions are controlled with a single button, which can be locked so the headlamp won’t accidentally turn on when stored.
