Effective Immediately, Shat·R·Shield Lighting Inc. announces the promotion of John McKeithan to Director of Operations. In this Senior Leadership role McKeithan will be responsible for all procurement, manufacturing, maintenance and warehouse operations.

Since joining Shat·R·Shield Lighting in 2010, McKeithan has served several roles including Maintenance Manager and Industrial Engineer. “He has shown success in learning new techniques in process improvement and operations management”, said Bob Nolan, Owner and CEO of Shat·R·Shield Lighting. “His leadership has enabled our supply chain management and manufacturing team to meet the stringent quality and delivery of products our customers deserve while enabling us to achieve our goals for growth as an LED fixture manufacturer.”

Prior to his employment at Shat·R·Shield Lighting, McKeithan served in other roles of increasing responsibility and authority. He holds numerous certificates in Industrial Electronics, Industrial Electricity, Electrical Safety, Fiber Optics and more. John served 20 years in the United States Navy where he traveled the world as a Master Chief Electronics Technician/ Master Saturation Diver.

The company also announces the promotion of Douglas Adkins to the position of Controller. In this Senior Leadership role Adkins will be responsible for all accounting activities, business analysis, and corporate financial planning.

Since first joining Shat·R·Shield Lighting in 2012, Douglas has taken on increasing responsibilities in finance and has played a role in product development, product management and inventory control.

Prior to joining Shat·R·Shield Lighting, Douglas accumulated over twenty five years in accounting, the last thirteen in manufacturing. He is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a B.S.B.A in accounting and is a certificated public accountant.
