Protective Industrial Products announces promotions

Albany, NY-based Protective Industrial Products, Inc. (PIP) has announced key personnel changes that affect warehousing, manufacturing, finance and sales.

 Allen Brown has been promoted to Director of Logistics and Warehousing Operations.He will oversee both inbound and outbound shipping from PIP’s Memphis, Tennessee location.
 

Since he joined PIP in 2006, Brown has worked his way from Branch Manager at the PIP Tennessee location to managing the California and New York distribution centers as well.

 Joseph Milot III, QSSP, has been named Director of Manufacturing Operations and Hand Protection Product Manager. Milot will oversee all U.S. based manufacturing facilities for the international company.

Milot, who previously worked as the Regional Sales Manager for the Southwest portion of the United States, will continue to handle all hand protection product planning, development, and launches for the industrial market. He is a graduate of The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.

 Bridget N. Amicone, Esp. has been promoted to Vice President of Finance and Administration;she will oversee both departments and also continue to handle all in-house legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions.
 Previously, Amicone was Director of Administration and Operations. She is a graduate of Albany Law School and Vassar College.

 Mike Brooks has been named Vice President of Sales, Industrial Division.Brooks joined PIP in 2007 as the Southeastern Regional Sales Manager responsible for hand protection product sales through independent representatives to distributors. He was then promoted to National Sales Manager for his integral role in growing the Industrial Division relationships with distributors and customers.

As Vice President of Sales, Brooks will oversee all sales activities in the Industrial Division including both National Account Managers.

 Robin Roberts has been named Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.Roberts started at PIP in 2000 as the Eastern Regional Sales Manager responsible for a group of independent representatives covering eastern US and Texas. In 2001, he was promoted to Vice President of Sales for the Consumer and Industrial divisions.
