A+A 2023 Trade Fair and Congress

This global event hosted by Messe Düsseldorf is taking place from Oct. 24-27 in Düsseldorf, Germany and focuses on safety, security and health. This is the 38^th congress, which typically happens every other year. 

It covers all aspects of a holistic prevention culture, from occupational health management and personal protection to workplace design and operational safety management. In addition, A+A is the largest platform for workwear and corporate fashion.

This year’s theme is “sustainable safety and health at work.” The congress takes up the future topics of digitalization and sustainability and, as a leading international trade event, presents national and global political advances. This includes prevention strategies such as the "Vision Zero.”

Wearable robotics

Also occurring during A+A is WearRAcon Europe, the European edition of the WearRAcon Conference, organized bi-annually by the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA) and the University of Stuttgart’s Institute of Industrial Manufacturing and Management (IFF), in close collaboration with the global exoskeleton interest group, the Wearable Robotics Association (WearRA) in Phoenix, Arizona (USA).

It aims to present European aspects of the latest innovations in wearable robotics, with a particular focus on occupational exoskeletons, and foster interactions between wearable robotics professionals, end-users from the industry, experts from the academia, and representatives from governmental agencies.

The WearRAcon Europe Conference 2023 will provide new insights into the promising world of exoskeleton systems from different perspectives and, in conjunction with the A+A Congress, set future-oriented impulses. It thus offers the ideal framework for scientific and industry-focused discourse.

2023 NSC Safety Congress and Expo

Billed as the world’s largest annual safety event, the NSC Congress and Expo from Oct. 20-26 in New Orleans features more than 20 professional development seminars; over 100 targeted Technical and Educational Sessions, from introductory to advanced, addressing hot topics in safety, case studies, personal stories, emerging trends and more; and the Expo floor, featuring the latest safety solutions from hundreds of exhibitors.
