Protective Industrial Products, Inc. (“PIP®”) announces three advanced safety helmets designed to elevate head protection standards in the industry: the PIP® Traverse™ Type II with Mips®, Kilimanjaro™ Type II with Dyna-Clic™, and JSP® EVO® ALTA™ Ascend Type II.

These three new products not only enhance safety on the jobsite but also set a new benchmark for comfort, customization and versatility.

JSP® EVO® ALTA™ Ascend Type II

The EVO® ALTA™ Ascend helmet is the ultimate choice for safety managers focused on worker comfort and advanced protection. Its specialized EPP foam liner and suspension harness increase airflow within the helmet, keeping the wearer cool with an internal temperature reduction of 5-7 degrees Fahrenheit. The helmet's highly adjustable design and compatibility with JSP® accessories, along with a quick-release EN 12492/ANSI Type II chinstrap, ensure a secure fit and seamless integration.

Kilimanjaro™ Type II

The Kilimanjaro helmet is ideal for those seeking a traditional yet advanced head protection solution, particularly for exterior jobsites exposed to the elements. Featuring a full brim design and a pre-installed Dyna-Clic™ chin strap with a magnetic buckle, the Kilimanjaro ensures all-around protection against sun, glare, rain, debris and impact. This helmet stands out as a leading solution for workers who require robust protection without sacrificing convenience.

PIP® Traverse™ Type II

Designed for safety managers who prioritize advanced brain and rotational protection, the Traverse offers a sleek, climbing-style safety helmet equipped with Mips® Brain Protection System technology. This cutting-edge feature allows up to 15 mm of relative movement between the helmet and the head during the first moments of impact, helping to reduce the severity of the impact. The Traverse helmet, with its lightweight ABS shell, ANSI Type II protection, and customizable features, offers an unparalleled balance of safety and affordability. This helmet is also available without Mips.

"With the addition of the Traverse, Kilimanjaro, and EVO® ALTA™ Ascend helmets, PIP now offers the largest assortment of advanced head protection solutions in the industry," said Joe Milot III, Director of Product Management, at PIP Global Safety. "These products reflect our commitment to innovation and our dedication to providing safety managers with the tools they need to protect their teams while prioritizing comfort and functionality."
