Bullard Chooses Twiceme Smart Safety Technology for Its New Type II + Safety Helmet

Twiceme Technology, a company building the digital safety standard for jobsites and adventures, announced Bullard, a leading manufacturer of personal protective equipment (PPE), has chosen to offer the smart safety technology in its new Type II + safety helmet. Bullard will integrate Twiceme's smart safety technology into the new Bullard Type II + Safety Helmet, enhancing safety practices for industrial workers and streamlining organization-wide safety management.

Founded in 1898, Bullard has been at the forefront of head protection innovation for over a century, with Edward W. Bullard inventing the first hard hat in 1919. The company will embed Twiceme chips into the shell of select models for its new Type II + safety helmets.

Twiceme-enabled Bullard helmets will empower safety managers to significantly improve operational efficiency while elevating safety protocols. Using Twiceme's Safety Management Portal (SMP), organizations can streamline daily safety management procedures, manage inventory and inspections, maintain comprehensive worker documentation, and reduce incident response times, all while providing users with advanced protection from Bullard's trusted helmet designs.

"At Bullard, we've been committed to protecting workers with the highest quality safety equipment for more than 125 years," said Wells Bullard, President and CEO of Bullard. "Collaborating with Twiceme allows us to give our customers enhanced capabilities that go beyond traditional head protection. The integration represents the next evolution in safety technology, combining our proven helmet designs with smart connectivity that can make the difference when seconds matter most."

Bullard helmets with Twiceme help organizations effectively manage their safety equipment and enhance workplace safety by enabling workers to upload their medical and contact information directly to their helmet. During emergencies, first responders can quickly scan the Twiceme symbol on the back of Bullard helmets to access emergency phone numbers and medical information such as pre-existing conditions and allergies. Having this information readily available helps to quicken response times and potentially saves lives.

"Our collaboration with Bullard represents another critical milestone in bringing connected safety technology to industrial workers worldwide," said Christian Connelly, CEO of Twiceme Technology. "Bullard's legacy of head protection innovation makes them an ideal company to work with for advancing the future of industrial safety. We look forward to helping Bullard provide more value to its customers, including a new approach to simplify and digitize daily safety operations."

The new Bullard safety helmet will be on display at the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) 2025 Safety Conference and Expo in Orlando, Florida from July 22 - 24 at Twiceme’s booth #1973. To learn more about Bullard's safety helmets, visit https://www.bullard.com.
